Charleston Mobile Animal Care offers a state-of-the-art surgical suite fully equipped with advanced surgical tools to care for your pet at your home in the Charleston, Mount Pleasant, and Sullivan's Island areas of South Carolina. Before any surgery, Dr. Kellie Horton always recommends running blood work on your furry friend. Blood work can determine if the liver and kidneys are correctly functioning, so anesthesia may be administered to your pet as safely as possible. During the pre-operative procedure, it is required that pain medication is given to keep your pet as comfortable as possible during surgery. Before and after the procedure, your pet's vital signs including heart rate and blood oxygen levels are monitored continuously by Dr. Horton. At the conclusion of the treatment, your pet will be kept warm and continually monitored as they wake from the anesthesia.
Charleston Mobile Animal Care performs all common surgeries in our unit on your property including spay and neuter, to more complicated procedures. Your pet will be in compassionate and skilled hands, where we will treat your pet just as we would our own. Call Charleston Mobile Animal Care for your pet's surgical needs.
